QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Leading international manufacturer of wind turbines worldwide, present in several countries across the world seeks qualified Junior HSE Manager within the development of its activities in Istanbul Office;

Responsibilities;

This position's main responsibility is to be the interface of the HSE department to the Service and Project Management department you will mainly provide advice on all aspects of Health and Safety and its potential impact within the company.

·       Implement defined HSE procedures from Nordex in combination with the local requirement in Turkey.

·       Establish risk assessment associated with methods statements with the respective department, and/or analyse risks and perform the before mentioned.

·       Continuously work on establishing a HSE- culture in Nordex Turkey. 

·       Conduct and perform HSE Audits, Inspections, Tours, Walkabouts and Surveys and prepare detailed reports

·       Plan HSE Trainings on an annual basis and prepare Training Matrix

·       Collate and analyse all accidents, incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions and unsafe acts

·       Monitor compliance with the HSE Plans, Procedures and Instructions and make revisions as per local regulations

·       Monitor and report all environmental issues including waste management

·       Responsible for HSE related contract management e.g. check documents and legal requirements

·       Implement a Health Program

Essential Experiences, Skills, and Qualifications:

·        Excellent knowledge of the local HSE regulations and legal requirements

·        Excellent communication skills

·        University degree in Electro-technical or Environmental Engineering 

·        Electro-technical and environmental experience

·        Fluent in Business English (further language competences would be preferable e.g. German)

·        Ability to work in a team and self organised

·        Driving Certificate

·        Willingness to go on business trips within Turkey and abroad
