The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in the successful and profitable running of all INTREPID TRAVEL (ex Peak DMC) Turkey trips and other specified travel products. to the standards stipulated in the INTREPID Service Level Agreement. They provide the main point of contact between Group Leaders and INTREPID DMC office in Turkey and DMC Global Operations. As well as being responsible for the performance of the Operations Department, the Operations Manager contributes regularly to the overall direction of INTREPID Turkey as part of the company’s Management Group.

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE
• Extensive travel experience in Turkey and a passion for travel
• Senior level operational management experience, ideally over multiple locations
• Travel and tourism industry work background
• Deep understanding of the qualities that makes a good Group Leader in Turkey
• Ability to communicate in English.

• Be a master communicator; provide feedback and coaching; empower and collaborate; provide clarity to your team; take ownership and be accountable; champion a strong team culture; be adaptable and flexible.

• The capacity to oversee the successful resolution of emergency situations that may occur on trips

• Capacity to manage all operations to budget and outstanding organisational skills
• Ability to manage and develop large group of trip leaders - proffesional tourist guides.
