QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Pepperl+Fuchs is one of the leading companies in the development and manufacture of electronic sensors and components for the global automation market. With headquarters in Germany and sales offices all over the world. In Turkey, our office is located in the anatolian part of Istanbul.
We supply our products and solutions to a wide range of different industrial sectors, including mechanical and systems engineering, the automotive sector, packaging technology, the chemicals industry, the oil and gas industry, and the pharmaceuticals sector.
Now the company is looking for a
Regional Sales Engineer (İstanbul, Tekirdağ )
Required qualifications for this job;
- University degree in Mechanical, Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Control Engineering, Computer Sciences or equivalent automation technologies,
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Automation projects or product sales,
- Analysing and following projects, developing solutions, preparing proposals, presenting and sale in consideration of customer needs,
- Good knowledge on Industrial Control Systems (Encoders, RFID, AS-i, IO link, IO modüles, PLCs and bus systems) and sensors (Proximity, Positining, Photoelectric, Ultrasonic) highly preferred, Safety knowledge is additional.
- Provide technical solutions that will fulfill the customer needs,
- Being part of next Industrie 4.0.
What else do I need to qualify for this job?
- Very good command of English is preferable,
- Knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel and Powerpoint is must),
- Excellent communication, decision making and problem solving skills, able to work in team environment, analytical, self- motivated,
- Male candidates should have completed the military service,
- Flexible for domestic and international travelling,
- Highly organized and ability to work independently from a Home Office,
- Driving licence,
- Living in Istanbul Europian side or Tekirdağ
What are his/her responsibilities?
- Visit customers regularly
- Regularly report on customer visits, market developments and competitors in CRM environment,
- Provide technical support,
- Represent Pepperl+Fuchs during site visits, communicating at all levels to ensure customer satisfaction,
- Hold product and system related presentations and seminars
- Sourcing and developing new customers/business
- Evaluate market analyses in the given region and interpret the results
- Introduction of new products
- To sell the products and services in line with the sales targets to be determined and to realize the targeted budgets
- To expand the customer portfolio
- Develop a strategy for industry and customer groups
- To manage communication processes with local and foreign guests
- To manage relationships with direct sales channels and distributers
