• University degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry Department.
• Minimum 5 years professional experience at “Environment, Health and Safety -EHS- Management Systems”and “Quality Management Systems” preferably in industrial lubricants business and/or related chemical industry.
• B or C Class “Safety Expert Certificate” is preferrable.
• SAP EHS knowledge is preferred, professional usage of Microsoft applications is must.
• Excellent command of English and Turkish both written and spoken; German will be an asset.
• Good knowledge of the Quality and Environmental Management Systems, Health and Safety Regulations and other relevant international standards.
• Good technical and engineering skills, analytical and risk based thinking and creative solving of technical problems.
• Environment and Risk Assessment knowledge.
• Excellent communication, planning and organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to accurately and concisely reporting.
• Process based and analytical thinking.
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team and result oriented.
• No military obligation for male candidates.

Job Description

• Maintain EHS Management Systems in line with Health and Safety Regulations and ISO 14001 Environmental Management and ISO 9001 Quality Management System standards.
• Assisting the Quality Assurance Executive upon Quality Management Systems.
• Control the EHS aspects of the works, identify the hazards, assets the risks, and ensure that control measures are implemented to maintain a healthy and safe working environment for all employees by taking into account the legislative, industry, local and global EHS requirements.
• Prepare and follow up the local/global monthly EHS Reports, legally required reports and coordinate with the related departments.
• Initiate and support EHS projects, programs and campaigns and ensure EHS aspects of the projects are in line local and global EHS Standards.
• Conduct health and safety trainings and orientation programs for the employees, contractors, trainees and ensure the EHS standards are properly implemented.
• Identify the hazards and implement the risk assessment processes and appropriate control measures to reduce these risks.
• Assist fully in the investigation of incidents and near misses by focusing on root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Prepare and coordinate Emergency Response Plan in line with local and global guidelines.
• Follow up and coordinate EHS Corrective and Preventive Actions. Monitor and analyze inputs for effective EHS programs.

• Knowledge of SAP EHS is preferred.
