We are looking for a "Occupational Health and Safety Supervisor" for Polisan Holding in Dilovası/Kocaeli

· Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental Engineering,

· Preferably graduated from Master Degree,

· Minimum 5 years of experience in chemicals industry with working knowledge in occupational safety, process safety and fire protection standards,

· A Class Occupational Health and Safety Expert certificate from Ministry of Labour,

· Excellent command of English both written and spoken,

· To have B class driving license,

· No military obligation for male candidates,

· Knowledge of national regulations & international HSE standards

JOB DESCRIPTION

· Ensure the application of Health and Safety regulations and rules at all Company functions are followed,

· Provide support to Operation, Maintenance and Project Departments in all aspects of safety,

· Participate in risk assessment studies on occupational health and safety issues and to report the results,

· Participate in Occupational Health and Safety Board meetings, to inform the board about the health and safety status of the workplace and give recommendations,

· Work in cooperation with Workplace Health Unit, evaluating the health and safety situation of the workplace, accident and occupational diseases in the workplace with the workplace physician and making preventive action plans according to the results of evaluation,

· Select and mentor usage of appropriate personal protective equipments to relevant departments at site,

· Plan, organize and conduct trainings in order to create and develop a healthy and safe work environment at the workplace.

· Generate performance reports, follow up KPI’s & report senior management

· Collaborate relevant departments to implement recommendations and controls to address unsafe behaviour

· Ensure training, toolbox meetings and drills are implemented as part of company’s HSE programme,
