Automation Engineer

We are looking for an Automation Engineer for our global business partner.

Your main mission is to take care of customer projects in terms of pre-sales, technical studies, software development, setup and commissioning. You will be responsible for selecting the correct components to provide the best electronic and hydraulic solutions for Off-road Mobile vehicles (agriculture equipment, construction equipment, handling equipment…), then develop the software to deliver the turn-key system. 

• Define functional architectures, products and solutions corresponding to customer specifications and needs
• Organize and lead his/her teammates for customer projects
• Develop and build customer specific mobile automation solutions
• Manage the setup and commissioning of projects, validation of prototypes for both domestic and abroad projects
• Project follow-up
• Develop a long-term partnership with customers and supplier

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Graduated from Control & Automation, Mechatronics or Electronics Engineering departments of reputable universities
• Knowledge about PLC, HMI, SCADA and ability of developing projects using C++, CODESYS is important
• Familiar with CANOPEN and J1939 protocols is an asset
• QT Programming experience is an asset
• Mobile Automation experience is an asset
• Good human affairs and self-expression is also important
• Having B-class driver license and no restriction for traveling for both domestic and abroad
• English is required, French is a plus.
• Male candidates must have completed military service or postponed minimum 2 years
• At least 3 years experience. You have real technical skills in Automation OR/and Hydraulics OR/and Electronics.
• Autonomous and well organized, your technical knowledge allows you to develop striking technical arguments as a real competitive advantage.
• Ideally, you also have good knowledge about mobile vehicles. Your technical background as well as your sense of customer service allows you to develop the best software for each single specific customer’s expectation.
