Laboratory Specialist

We are looking for a "Laboratory Specialist" for our business partner, a global company operating in the packaging manufacturing sector.

Job Description

• Compare the technical specifications of newly created material master data with the
• actual product, register the information in the ERP system, and perform the initial
• product inspection.
• Perform quality control tests on incoming raw materials, semi-finished products, and
• finished products in accordance with the relevant procedures, technical drawings,
• specifications, and test instructions.
• Perform in-process quality control activities whenever required, particularly in cases of
• production nonconformities or other process-related issues.
• Perform laboratory analyses and tests in accordance with the relevant procedures and
• work instructions.
• Perform dimensional and functional tests on finished products.
• Conduct laboratory analyses related to customer complaints and report the results.
• Record all test results accurately in the relevant records and report the results.
• Request samples required for testing purposes.
• Receive, identify, store, and, when necessary, dispose of samples in accordance with the
• relevant procedures.
• Perform daily checks of laboratory equipment and report any nonconformities.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laboratory and ensure compliance with
• the cleaning plan.
• Perform all activities in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) rules
• and instructions.
• Comply with the requirements and instructions of the Environmental Management
• System.

Qualifications 

• Graduation from a relevant vocational high school program is
• preferred.
• Ability to operate laboratory equipment.
• Familiarity with laboratory documentation processes.
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret dimensions.
• Basic knowledge of statistical analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of quality control principles and laboratory practices.
• Basic knowledge of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
