Supply Planning Specialist

We are looking for a "Supply Planning Specialist" for our global partner in the chemical industry.

Responsibilities

• Managing and monitoring all inbound logistics flows, including shipment tracking and delivery monitoring.

• Coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders/transport companies, and customs brokers for the prompt resolution of any potential issues with incoming deliveries.

• Creating and updating process and master data records in the SAP system in a timely manner to provide accurate and up-to-date visibility to customer service and sales teams.

• Creating Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders for products; obtaining delivery commitments for submitted requests and following up on open intra-company and inter-company transfer orders.

• Identifying potential supply constraints before they become issues and developing solution alternatives with stakeholders to minimize the risk of material shortages.

• Proactively managing SAP Exception Messages to prevent supply issues and overstocking.

• Ensuring implementation of corrective actions by suppliers to prevent recurrence and logging complaints when necessary.

• Actively contributing to continuous improvement projects and activities aimed at optimizing supplier planning processes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of work experience in Supply Chain or Logistics functions,

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel),

• Experience with SAP systems (preferred),

• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate potential issues,

• Strong analytical thinking, detail-oriented working skills, and a high sense of responsibility,

• Strong competencies in effective communication, persuasion, and stakeholder management.
