Renaissance Heavy Industries – “RHI” carries out the heavy industry projects in all leading sectors: hydrocarbons, power, metallurgy and mining, as well as processing plants, in Russia.

In cooperation with its sister companies and through strategic partnerships, RHI provides engineering, procurement, construction, operation and management services for large-scale projects.

We are looking for a “Commercial Director”, to be assigned in our "Ankara" and/or"Moscow" Head Office.

Required Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from recognized universities (candidates with a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree can also apply)

·        At least 15 years of experience in the related area,

·        Preferably worked as Contract Manager / Technical Office Manager / Commercial Manager or Director in international large-scale companies and projects (industrial experience or oil and gas experience is preferred),

·        Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English (Russian is preferred),

·        Experience in local and international contract standards i.e. FIDIC, NEC,

·        Ability to manage claim preparation processes, having a good knowledge of the claim preparation methods,

·        Strong communication skills, verbal and written negotiation skills,

·        High level of responsibility and developed organizational skills, prone to teamwork,

·        Ability to work analytically and systematically,

·        Adaptation to fast-paced work environment,

·        Developed coordination skills,

·        No restrictions for travel,

·        No military obligation for male candidates.

Job Description:

·        Coordinating all subjects related to contract management, claims, dispute resolution, contract interpretation and analysis related to projects followed by the Operational Risk and Project Management Office,

·        Monitoring and controlling performance of the group companies in terms of contract and claim management

·        Reviewing the commercial aspects of the projects followed and being involved in the negotiation processes of important claims,

·        Identifing potential claims, check compliance with applicable contractual terms, and ensure that claims are effectively negotiated and resolved,

·        Ensuring that claims are prepared in accordance with the provisions of the relevant contractual terms, including calculation of losses incurred and delay analysis ,

·        Preparing necessary advice for any claim submitted,

·        Maintaining records with project management regarding request and change and attending / chairing weekly contractual and change management meetings (or attending any other contractual and commercial meeting as deemed necessary),

·        Contributing to Operational and Commercial Risk management processes and reviewing meetings,

·        Ensuring and controlling the preparation of internal documents, procedure etc.,

·        Conducting necessary research and interviews about new potential business opportunities.
