Process Quality Engineer

Responsibility:

l  Review customer quality requirements and ensure that systems are in place to meet them.

l  Ensure production is producing quality product to specifications.

l  Support prototype builds (document according to prototype checklist inspection process).

l  Collect SPC data and report; and work with manufacturing on process improvements.

l  Support manufacturing or engineering in the development of job instructions and procedures.

l  Provide support and maintain compliance with all company guidelines, customer requirements, International Quality Standards (ie. ISO9001 etc.) and all applicable government regulations and standards.

l  Makes decisions with regard to disposition of non-conforming material and that proper containment and follow up is done.

l  Perform additional assignments per manager’s direction.

l  The incumbent is responsible for the awareness, understanding, specific responsibilities and management of Quality Management Systems Manual.

Requirements: 

l  Preferred >3 years’ of related work experience.

l  College graduate with the subject of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience and training

l  Knowledge of Six Sigma, ISO9001

l  Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the use of statistical software.

l  Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).

l  Must be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with an attention to detail.

l  Enthusiasm for challenge and new initiatives are prerequisites.

l  Supervisory and interpersonal skills are required

l  Troubleshooting ability is required

l  Good presentation skills
