Accounting and Tax Manager

Accounting & Financial Closing

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations in compliance with local regulations and company policies
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of trial balances, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Monitor general ledger accuracy and accounting control environment
• Coordinate external audit processes and statutory reporting requirements

Tax & Regulatory Compliance

• Manage all tax processes including VAT, withholding tax, corporate tax, stamp tax, and other statutory obligations
• Ensure full compliance with Turkish Tax Procedure Law (VUK) and related regulations
• Coordinate tax filings, declarations, and tax audits
• Work closely with external tax advisors and auditors
• Identify and mitigate tax and compliance risks proactively

Manufacturing Accounting & Cost Control

• Oversee inventory accounting and production-related accounting processes
• Support month-end inventory closures and stock reconciliations
• Analyze production costs and operational financial impacts
• Work closely with production, procurement, warehouse, and foreign trade teams
• Ensure accurate accounting treatment of manufacturing and operational transactions

Process Improvement & ERP

• Improve accounting workflows, approval structures, and financial controls
• Support ERP optimization and finance digitalization initiatives
• Ensure accounting processes are aligned with ERP best practices
• Contribute to automation and process standardization projects

Team Management

• Lead and develop the accounting team
• Establish disciplined reporting and operational routines
• Coordinate cross-functional finance processes with treasury, procurement, and operations teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, tax, and financial reporting roles
• Strong experience in manufacturing companies is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of Turkish tax legislation and statutory accounting requirements
• Proven experience in inventory accounting and manufacturing finance processes
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion experience is a strong plus)
• Experience managing audits and tax inspections
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and process-driven mindset
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced English proficiency preferred
