Port Operation Excellence Manager

We are seeking talented individuals to join our Port Operation Excellence Manager team at Adana Port.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields

· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in port, logistics, or manufacturing industries

· Proficiency in MS Office applications (preferably with experience in port automation systems)

· Strong command of English is preferred

· Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma (certification is a plus)

· Strong analytical thinking, data analysis, and reporting skills

· Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and preferably SQL/TOS systems

· Strong communication skills with high decision-making and problem-solving abilities

· Ability to adapt to flexible working hours 

· Strong team player with ability to coordinate between field and office

· Residing in or willing to relocate to Adana, Ceyhan, İskenderun, or Osmaniye regions

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Analyze and improve port-related processes such as logistics, terminal operations, loading/unloading, warehousing, and subcontracted services
• Lead and support Lean, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and automation projects; identify bottlenecks using tools like Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
• Monitor and analyze operational KPIs (e.g., vessel turnaround time, equipment utilization, truck turnaround time); report performance and drive improvement actions
• Ensure effective integration and utilization of digital tools (e.g., TOS, ERP, Power BI); identify and implement automation opportunities
• Oversee subcontractor performance; develop dashboards, enforce contractual KPIs, and implement incentive/penalty systems
• Conduct cost control and efficiency studies; implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, maintenance, IT, quality, planning, commercial) to ensure alignment with port strategy
• Deliver training and support change management initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards; promote safety awareness across all stakeholders
• Prepare and present operational reports and performance analyses to senior management
