We are looking for a responsible C Class Safety Officer who will facilitate compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines within his/her assigned workplace. The safety officer will compile safety programs and standardize them to remain consistent, and write reports detailing health and safety within their assigned research market.

Requirements

•  Bachelor’s degree in a health, safety, or environmental field of study
•  Certificate in occupational health and safety
•  At least 1 year of experience
•  Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
•  Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
•  Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools (good understanding of ERP system preferred)

Key Responsibilities

•  Support the development of occupational health and safety policies and programs
•  Review existing policies and measures and update them according to legislation
•  Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics
•  Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
•  Adhere to all the rules and regulations
•  Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management
