We are looking for an?Application Scientist?to join our team and support the Colors business in Turkey. This position is a key member of the Sensient team, where you will be required to push boundaries and add value onsite in the office in Gebze, 5 days per week. 

 
What you’ll do: 

• Provide color match/color recommendations for customer’s product by performing various trials to model the customer’s formulation and/or process and conducting stability testing
• Service mainly our local customers 
• Make application of Sensient products, comparing their application performance with competitive support to the local sales team and distributors in application and related processes 
• Evaluate sample library (application and marketing) periodically to ensure accuracy and completeness 

What you’ll bring: 

• Bachelor’s degree in related engineering departments  
• Minimum 2 - 3 years of working experience from food industry   
• Experience with various confectionery, bakery applications and recipes are preferred 
• Upper Intermediate or higher English knowledge 
• Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge
