Additionally, Serban is responsible for EPC projects as a technology integrator technological buildings, factories, cyber technology and security buildings, also hotel, shopping mall, and residential projects.
We are seeking a "Procurement & Supply Chain Manager" to be based in Ümraniye (Dudullu), İstanbul for a Data Center Project, meeting the qualifications listed below:
General Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related disciplines from a reputable university,
- Minimum 15 years of experience in large-scale construction projects (preferably data centers, industrial facilities, or energy projects), includingat least 5 years in a managerial procurement, supply chain, or logistics role,
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, subcontractor coordination, sourcing strategies, and logistics operations throughout the project lifecycle,
- Experience in managing supplier agreements, purchase orders, subcontractor commercial interfaces, procurement correspondence, and logistics/delivery processes,
- Familiarity with international contracting practices and FIDIC-based contract frameworks is preferred,
- Experience in cost control, procurement budget tracking, and supply chain reporting processes,
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking),
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications,
- Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset,
- Residing in İstanbul (preferably the Asian side).
Job Description
- Manage all procurement and supply chain activities throughout the project lifecycle,
- Develop and execute procurement strategies in coordination with project commercial governance and construction requirements,
- Lead procurement and logistics operations including procurement execution, material flow, and warehouse activities,
- Oversee procurement and logistics activities within the project organization, ensuring effective execution,
- Manage supplier selection, tendering, onboarding, evaluation, and performance monitoring processes,
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, framework agreements, and subcontract procurement processes,
- Monitor procurement budgets, commitments, and cost performance in coordination with Cost Control and Planning teams,
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and services in line with project schedules, including site logistics coordination,
- Identify supply chain and logistics risks, including long lead items, and develop mitigation strategies in coordination with project planning,
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Planning, and Logistics functions for procurement and delivery needs,
- Prepare periodic procurement, logistics, and cost tracking reports for project commercial governance,
- Ensure full documentation, traceability, and compliance of all procurement and logistics records within project systems,
- Provide leadership and direction to procurement and logistics functions within the project organization.
