Operating under Açık Holding, Serban İnşaat provides turnkey services in the construction industry, mainly in Data Center projects and critical facilities. Additionally, Serban is responsible for EPC projects as a technology integrator technological buildings, factories, cyber technology and security buildings, also hotel, shopping mall, and residential projects.

We are seeking a "QA/QC Chief" to be based in Ümraniye (Dudullu), İstanbul for a Data Center Project, meeting the qualifications listed below:

Genel Nitelikler:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering from a reputable university,
• Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC within the construction sector,
• Experience in large-scale industrial projects such as data centers, hospitals, airports, heavy industrial facilities, refineries, petrochemical plants, or large-scale shopping malls,
• Strong technical knowledge of materials, workmanship, construction methodologies, quality control procedures, testing, and commissioning processes,
• Proven experience in inspection, testing, documentation, and QA/QC activities,
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications and basic quality control software,
• Proficiency in PDF markup and review tools such as Bluebeam and Adobe Acrobat,
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking),
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset,
• Ability to manage site quality activities in terms of safety, quality, and schedule,
• Residing in İstanbul (preferably the Asian side).

İş Tanımı:

• Ensure that all civil, mechanical, and electrical works are executed in compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client quality requirements such as ISO, TIA, and Uptime standards,
• Prepare, review, and implement project-specific Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and FAT/SAT procedures,
• Manage material and equipment approval processes and ensure compliance of incoming materials with project specifications,
• Coordinate and monitor RFI (Request for Inspection) processes with consultants, clients, and subcontractors,
• Conduct daily site inspections and ensure quality control of subcontractor works,
• Identify non-conformities, prepare NCR/CAR records, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented,
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise testing and commissioning activities including Pre-Functional, Functional, and Integrated System Tests,
• Prepare and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports, inspection records, KPI reports, and testing and commissioning documentation,
• Ensure all quality documentation is properly maintained, updated, traceable, and accessible,
• Coordinate quality activities with other disciplines to ensure seamless project execution,
• Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant stakeholders,
• Support external audits and coordinate site/documentation preparations for inspections by relevant authorities and organizations,
• Monitor project quality performance, report to Head Office, and proactively manage quality-related risks,
• Ensure proper archiving and handover of all quality documentation including testing & commissioning files, certificates, and operation & maintenance manuals.
