QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

•  Managing the day-to-day import operations, documentation, in coordination with supplier, logistics, customs agent to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Preparing the necessary documentation for import operations according to payment terms, Incoterms practices and related customs legislation.
• Finding the right transportation company and negotiating the best price for international transportation and freight needs
• Carry out customs clearance of materials in coordination with forwarders and customs broker.
• Ensuring timely updates or shipment details and updating system timely to meet deadlines
• Proactively identify gaps and contribute to the process of establishing controls resulting in zero compliance issues
• Improve the supplier pool by conducting supplier research
• Reporting external costs to the management

Qualifications

• University degree preferably in Foreign Trade, Business Administration or related field
• 3+ years of experience in import operations
• Knowledge of L/C & Leasing processes
• Good at  Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with ERP (Logo Tiger) and logistics management is preferred.
• Experience with inward processing regime (DİİB) is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with vendors, related departments.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills with the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks accurately and on time
