Position function: As a Laser Engraving Technician, you will be responsible for designing patterns and textures using software applications such as Rhinoceros, Photoshop, RizomUV, Unfold3D. Your primary role will be to design and prepare files for laser engraving projects, to implement the projects on a Laser Engraving machine, and to be able to check the quality status of the works according to the Standex Engraving Mold-Tech quality standards. You will also be in charge of performing the main technical functions of a laser machine, such as calibration, setup, and maintenance in accordance with established practices, procedures, and product/process documentation.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of English, written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Rhinoceros 3D modeling software or similar CAD software
• Familiarity with graphic software such as Adobe Photoshop or GIMP
• Familiarity with measuring devices such as rough meters, gloss meters, gauges, 3D optical measuring system
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team environment.
• Experience in teamwork and networking with remoted and de-localized teams
• Planning and organization skills
