Sr Project Engineer - Automation

The incumbent would be actively responsible for design, implementation, testing and commissioning of automation solutions. The incumbent would be supporting the market companies with developing automation strategies and executing automation projects. He / she would provide necessary technical support and service to our customers. He / she would also be expected to support for automation pre-project costing and sales activities

Besides the above, one of the challenges in this position will be to contribute in the sharing of your competence to others within the team. An open mindset and a willingness to teach and share is therefore of extra importance.

What Will You Do

1.    Coordination, promotion and sales of our automation products and services.

2.    Development and commissioning of plant automation systems (hardware and software) as part of an overall production solution combined by process and automation

3.    Coordination with Projects team

4.    Technical support, commissioning and troubleshooting activities – remote and / or at site

5.    Implementation of software upgrades

6.    Knowledge of SQL databases, SQL Scripting, networks, Windows & Virtualization environment

7.    Prepare and perform software and panel FAT tests with end customers

9.    Perform Hardware configuration, system setup and tests of configurations.

10.    Participate and contribute in customer meetings

11.    Create automation related documentation for projects.

12.    Able to understand and review electrical drawings

13.    Panel testing with panel vendors

14.    Knowledge of field instrumentation

15.    Knowledge of automation network topologies

16.    Participate in plant commissioning & start up

17.    Collect market info and create cluster PDNs

18.    Data collection and reporting of automation installed base

19.    Carry out automation upgrades

20.    Conduct automation training for customer personnel

 Who You Are

We believe you have:

• University degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechatronics
• English & Turkish language proficiency.
• Turkish national.

• Solid experience in industrial automation – Wonderware Intouch, Wonderware System platform, Siemens WinCC, Siemens S7, Siemens TIA & Rockwell CLx platforms
• Knowledge of Tetra Pak systems will be an added advantage
• Sales experience will be added advantage
• Food and Beverage background preferred
