Key accountabilities
 

• Supports the Guest Communication Manager in exceeding guest expectations with service and manages guest feedback, in keeping with the Peninsula Service Principles, focusing on the core principles. Look for improvement for better service standards with a general theme of anticipating the guests' needs.
• Intricates knowledge of Rooms configuration/features and of the culinary offerings, with robust revenue generating strategies and initiatives to maximize both Rooms, SPA and F&B sales and revenues. 
• Supports for monthly analysis and presentation of the Departmental expenses and revenue generation and formulates timely sales strategies to maximize sales, and average room rate reference the hotel’s commercial targets.
• Ensures prompt communications and follow-up on any problems, guest requests or special requirements.
• Ensures proper inventory control of room availability in close collaboration with the Director of Front Office and Director of Revenue. 
• Directs the functions, administration, and leadership of the Guest Communication Centre to meet planned budgets and expenses.
• Hires, develops, motivates, supervises, and coaches department employees in maintaining a culture in compliance with mission, vision, values, and cores principles HSH.

 

General requirements
 

• Minimum 2-3-years’ experience in a similar role within Front Office or Reservations in a Luxury Hotel environment with similar standards and expectations. 
• Thorough knowledge of customer service techniques, office management and good working knowledge of yielding strategies, operational finance / procedures. 
• Excellent communication, time management, organisational skills, highly adaptable with a focus on problem solving, naturally positive. Intricate knowledge of room, F&B and reservations focused systems
• Fluent English communication proficiency. Expertise in a second language would be desirable.
