We are looking for enthusiastic and talented engineers to join us as “Senior Supplier Quality Engineer” within Supply chain Department. The role is based in Menemen, İzmir.

What will be decisive: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Material, Chemical
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office applications
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills
• Understanding of supplier quality, localization and project management (experience preferred)
• Knowledge of various quality system methodologies APQP4Wind, IMS, 8D, 5 Why’s, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, FMEA, PPAP, SPC etc.
• Working well with diverse groups of people and being able to function independently
• Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing and the ability to travel abroad

What will be your contributions:

• Lead supplier evaluation with cooperation of engineering, quality and sourcing teams, according to TPI & Customer expectations and requirements,
• Lead annual supplier audit plans through supplier performance criteria and results,
• Conduct requirements analysis and provide details of the project requirements to the stakeholders involved.
• Follow up supplier performance, in terms of delivery, quality and contractual items. Be single point of contact to solve issues between the supplier and related departments,
• Lead supplier development program, including safety, delivery, quality and cost aspects.
• Work with Purchasing to ensure supplier performance is regularly reported and that appropriate corrective actions are implemented on a timely basis.
• Maintain and update critical supplier audit system and schedule
• Conduct supplier audits to drive process standardization, waste elimination, and continuous improvement
• Champion problem solving and root cause analysis activities with suppliers and customers to eliminate recurrence of non-conformances
• Develop long-term supplier relationships and generate and implement cost reduction ideas
• Strategically lead supplier performance improvement projects in an effort to increase the supplier capability.
• Drive “Zero Defect” mentality within the supply base
