Other Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)

  • Experienced in travel & tourism industry

  • Knowledge of GDS software i.e. Galileo, Worldspan, Abacus and Amadeus

  • Prior experience of enterprise sales experience specifically to include B2B sales

  • Experience as the focal point for clients for all sales and related issues

  • Ability to pitch potential customers and generate new businesses through effective software marketing and software selling techniques



İŞ TANIMI

Travel Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. is hiring a dynamic and confident sales professional who possesses exceptional communication skills and fluent in English. Selected candidate will have to pitch GDS software and related services to prospective and existing travel agencies in travel trade market. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition.
A successful candidate will have proven experience in software sales, and launching and tracking sales campaigns that nurture leads and engage prospects in a B2B buying cycle. Candidates from hospitality and Airline (aviation) industry are encouraged to apply for the position.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning
  • Identify and qualify prospects by telephone, premise visits, and networking
  • Keep himself up to date  with the new updates and developments in GDS software
  • Engage and coordinate necessary resources (ie. Technical Sales, Product Management, etc) as required in order to progress and close deals
  • Develop proposals and conduct face-to-face sales presentations for prospective travel agencies
  • "Multi-channel" follow-up - help uncover new deals and nurture existing opportunities
  • Understand the sales process; track all sales activity through the sales Customer
  • Engage with Product Management to provide feedback on customer reaction to products
  • Gather market information including competitor activity, and report to management
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale.
