Turkish Nacelle Center is a Joint Venture company between Collins Aerospace and Turkish Airlines Technic and was established in June 2010, located in Sabiha Gökçen Airport/HABOM, Istanbul. The company offers maintenance, repair and overhaul services of thrust reverser and nacelle systems to commercial airlines both domestic and international. We at present require an experienced individual who will contribute to our success, whilst upholding our reputation as a leading provider of quality MRO services with our EMEA customers.

• Bachelor’s degree
• Holding ISO 9001 or AS9110 Quality Auditor training certificate from authorized training entities.(Certificate must be presented at the time of job application)
• Aviation quality experience (proof of experience must be presented at the time of job application):

         - At least 2 years of experience in aviation industry in Part-145 (maintenance) environment

        - At least 1 years of experience as employed in Part-145 maintenance organisation Quality department as a Quality Auditor with lead auditor records of at least 5 audits

        - Proof of experience as in a letter from the previous employer showing the details above

• Regulations knowledge of EASA Part 145, FAR 145, SHY-145 and ISO 9001/AS9110.
• Advanced level of speaking, reading, and writing skills in English (ability to understand aviation regulations as well as technical and Quality procedures)
• Experience in document (procedures and manuals) revision practices with “MS Word” software
• Good interpersonal, communication and computer skills
• Ability to make objective analysis
• Ability and experience in leading effective problem solving and root cause analysis
• No travel restriction (anticipated at approximately 10-15%)

JOB DESCRIPTION      

• Working for Quality department as a quality specialist and quality auditor; within scope of Compliance Monitoring and Quality / Safety Management System activities in line with applicable regulations and standards. (EASA Part-145, FAA Part 43/145, SHT-145, AS9110.)
• Conducting the audits assigned by Quality Manager in accordance with audit schedule (planned and unscheduled audits)
• Coordinating the audit micro planning with the related department managers.
• Making necessary preparations before the audit
• Checking the applicable requirements mandated by the regulations, MOE/RSM/QCM and company procedures during the audits
• Preparing the audit report and agreeing with the auditee department in the audit closure meeting
• Entering the audit report and findings in the company audit follow-up system.
• Monitoring the finding closure process to confirm the effective finding closure before the defined due dates
• Coordinating the external audits (regulatory authorities, customer, etc.) as requested.
• Representing the company in the external audits (SHGM, EASA, FAA, etc.)
• Visiting other subcontractors as required for regular or unscheduled audits.
• Monitoring compliance of MOE/RSM/QCM and other company manuals to remain in compliance with applicable regulations and standards
• Revising the company manuals and related Quality procedures to remain up to date.
• Controlling company procedures and monitoring revision requests from other departments
• Preparing and submitting necessary applications to the regulatory authorities.
• Doing necessary reporting to the regulatory authorities in periods as defined in company manuals
• Reviewing internal applications in terms of indirect approval privilege granted by the authorities (Capability List revisions, Authorization initial issue and renewals, Vendor Evaluation, and approval)
• Following company internal training system records and coordinate the timely compliance of the recurrent trainings
• Drive the development of robust processes that control all aspects of the business that affect the quality of the product or service
• Other daily tasks related to Compliance Monitoring and Quality Management System activities
• Compliance with all RTX policies and regulatory procedures inclusive of EH&S, Code of Ethics, Intellectual Property and Global Trade Compliance requirements and employee engagement and operating principles (Collins Path)
