We are looking for a new teammate to join our Development Team as Project Leader to be responsible for building construction respecting the concepts.                                                

What will be your responsibilities?

• Do site visits to control the environment of potential sites, check the infrastructure and technical minimums, ask for the right documentation
• Negotiate with landlords to provide the right construction split list and define the scope of works
• Assist the development manager, prove the construction documents of the feasibility study (detailed cost estimate, macro-schedule), necessaries for the investment committee validation
• Validate the sanction plan documents and their consistency with the approved budget
• Be responsible tender documentation, in accordance with the standard specification and budget
• Comply with the Decathlon rules, select the contracts and organize the signature of the contract
• Ensure the construction project is carried out to the agreed time, budget and quality. Do min. once a time in a week site visits to secure the quality of works
• Ensure the project is managed safely and in accordance with the local regulations regarding health and safety on construction sites
• Ensure close-out of the financial situation and documentation for the construction project
• Guarantee the infrastructure of the store for 1 year till handover to the Maintenance Manager
• Work on optimization of construction costs

Who are you?

We are looking for a teammate who;

• Has a Bachelor's or Masters degree in related fields
• Has 2-4 years of experience in a similar position
• Has a good understanding of operating requirements
• Has fluency in spoken & written English and Turkish
• Has a methodical mindset
• Is sportive, energetic, responsible & team player
• Is able to travel often (mobile)
• Is familiar with standard construction methods and building standards
  
• Is attentive and responsive
• Is open to has different levels of responsibilities
