Civil Engineer

TASKS AND AUTHORIZATION: 

- Taking an active role in technical civil design control, design improvements suggestions as well as in civil execution management with the focus on quality and compliance with norms and clients standards 

- Solving technical concerns in the civil engineering fields 

- Ability to interpret static calculations and civil design documentation 

- Presenting high-class solutions for its approvals to the Client and/or involved authorities or institutions 

- Coordinating the construction partner and/or subcontractors during the execution period directly on site. 

- Supervising of the civil execution and managing the compliance of execution methods pursuant to state of the art technologies 

- Supervision of H&S site standards as per local regulation and client standards 

- Instructing partners and subcontractors on proper civil execution sequences and performances

 - Conducting quality and cost control activities of execution-performances of subcontractors 

 - Managing and directing the preparation of technical specifications for the project, method reports, mobilization plans, financial records and documents in compliance with contracts, technical criteria of civil engineering and required standards

 - Preparing quality plans, system stabilization, identifying project and design criteria, creating guidelines in line with national and international standards, developing technical specifications covering process needs, ensuring the compliance of required quality standards

 - Supervising and keeping of available budgets. Controlling of compliance and deviation of bill of quantities 

 - Evaluating and controlling the procurement demands in a technical and cost manner 

 - Explaining technical issues, making technical and financial studies necessary for the civil execution activities ? Following the work-flow and work plans on project basis, working in close cooperation with project team and other related departments 

 - Providing support to the Purchasing Team in order to maintain the quality control activities of procurement activities and applications of suppliers 

- Conducting meetings with client and consulting engineer in related fields. Ensuring a strong and professional customer and consulting engineer liaison and support 

 - Monitoring the execution drawings on project basis, entering revisions, ensuring the timely and qualified completion of design and execution performances 

 - Reporting management as per project and company standards RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 - Conducting improvement and reporting works for entire project process ? Being required to perform tasks, given by his superior, within the scope of his responsibility field 

MAIN REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

- 15 - 20 years of experience in the Civil-Engineering Field with focus on site execution. Experience in wastewater treatment and fresh water processing technologies is an advantage, but not essential for the position

- Very good command of the English language. Other foreign language is an advantage

- Good EDV-Knowledge (MS-Office package, MS-Project, Primavera, Autocad, vb.)
