QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary

Responsible for Local and Foreign purchasing, logistics & inventory management of Turkey operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

-Supervise Procurement, Logistics & Inventory teams.

-Responsible for Local and Foreign purchasing of Turkey operations.

-Researching new Vendors / Suppliers / Direct-Traders in order to find the most Cost-Effective product that meets the need of the field crew.

-Establishing reliable lines of contact with field management team to ensure that all field purchase orders are accurate.

-Working with the inventory management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders and report any back-ordered or missing products;

-Checking fiscal invoices, airfreight bills and packing lists sent by Vendors / Suppliers / Direct-Traders if they were prepared with respect to right instructions for custom clearance;

-Reviewing POs and relevant documents and ensure that Viking policies & procedures are properly applied.

-Controlling pending shipments & reviewing shipments tracker.

-Reviewing the Recorded received & issued spares into Warehouse IT System.

-Maintaining strict control over inventory levels in order to meet departmental demands and preparing MRs in a timely manner.

-Planning warehouse layout and space requirements to prevent loss or damage and to achieve full warehouse optimization.

-Identifying discrepancies between IT system and physical counts and taking necessary action.

-Work closely with procurement team to Ensure the coordination of the import materials in the shortest time possible and to ensure that the material is delivered safely to the rig or warehouse;

-Check the availability of the materials and equipment that are legally inconvenient in importing by requesting the appropriate documents and certificates from the vendor and making them suitable for importation.

-Following Viking International Limited’s QHSE policies and procedures in order to create a safe working environment;

-Performing all other duties and tasks assigned by the department management.

Qualifications

-Minimum of 6 years of industry experience with a minimum of 3 years procurement / warehouse coordinator.

-Good command of English language written & spoken.

-Good personality, leads previously at least group of 5 to 10 persons.
