Senior Front-End Developer

Visioncy is an international startup incubator and tech company builder, with locations in Hannover (Germany), and Istanbul (Turkey). 

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced ''Front-end Developers'' to join our creative team. In this role you will be responsible for managing our company’s web presence, ensuring that our site is user friendly and up-to-date. You will also work to implement new web technologies that will positively impact our users' experience

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is essential.
• Have at least 3 years of experience as a Front-end Developer
• Hands on experience with JavaScript (ES) standards and JS technologies, libraries and frameworks, such asjQuery (ReactJS is preferable)
• Knowledge of HTML5 ( Front-end toolkit Bootstrap, ..), CSS3 (Tailwind CSS Framework, ..), Responsive Design
• Knowledge of Sass or other compiled CSS languages
• Knowledge of Front End Dev Ops (NPM, WebPack, Gulp, Browserify, Babel, etc.),
• Have experience indeveloping and testing on multiple browsers, platforms, and devices, including smartphones and tablets,
• Have an understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and their solutions,
• Like to stay up to date on emerging technologies,
• Are knowledgeable about version control systems (such as Git),
• Knowledge of frontend testing – Mocha, Chai, Jasmine, Jest, writing unit tests
• Experience working as a member of a software development team, e.g. participating in Planning sessions and interpreting user stories, doing code reviews, pair programming.
• Ability to think creatively to design/build applications that meet business process and application requirements
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Have a level of English knowledge that you will not have any problems while analyzing technical documents.
• Working on projects with colleagues in Germany, partially on-site.
