ROLE PURPOSE

We are looking for a Network Quality Senıor Expert with the will and ambition to work in high performing environment. Vodafone is one of the biggest global Techco companies and you will also be able to have a chance to show your potential worldwide by working with our global stakeholders. 

The role is responsible of making sure that Vodafone Mobile Network is performing at its best, with an End to End perspective, based on predefined SLAs, KPI targets and Regulatory thresholds. The role requires team leading and project management skills beside being responsible of detecting detoriations/degradations in Core Network, starting and tracking necessary actions with related parties, correct scalations and follow up, managing task force teams for major incidents, and making sure that the issue is solved, on top of analytics and visualization activities to Technical teams, Group and Management. 

Your place in the team

•    Having End to End observation on Core network, and understanding of nature of services and high level call flow of each on an E2E network as overal. ( for Voice and Data services )
•    Analysing Core KPI changes and correlating with RAN and transmittion KPI chanages, alongside KPIs KQIs reported from Tools ( CEM, Netperform and SIGOS)
•    Correlating different domain KPIs anomalies to adress the main cause source and follow up on solution implementation.
•    finding service anomalies by deept dive analysis and guiding team for follow up and  create temporary task force groups and leading  in correct direction to achive resolution.
•    Correlating KPI and KQIs from different tools and directing team in correct way for follow up .
•    Making sure that these KPIs are reported on time, on purpose and with qualified data. 
•    Making sure that KPIs always meet the targets and keep on improving. Delivering actionable insights to improve network KPI values, detecting detoriations/degradations in Network to “smell the problem”
•    Being one of the main contacts for the Vodafone Group Quality teams to comment on tracked KPIs
•    Driving quality improvement initiatives and managing E2E problem solving meetings with steakholders, with extensive use of different soruces of data, tools and information.
•    Testing tool config to get needed KPI and KQIs and analysis of voice and data services  (e.g. SIGOS, CEM, Netpeform), KPI and alarm tracking.
•    Delivering impact analyses on network parametric and hardware changes, incidents, etc. using different data tools and KPIs that effects network customer perception  and network KPI targets.
•    Reporting to Regulatory Authorities based on predefined SLAs and methodologies, detecting any ciritical anomalies to impact these SLAs and to warn related parties, and also to participate in Regulatory Meetings if required by Regulatory Authorities. 

We are looking for you if you have

•    Good knowledge on Core Network Elements and their places in network and functionality of each in topology.familiarity with IP backbone and IT kndowledge is a Plus. ( PS core Nodes E.g. EPC, PCRF, optimisation tool And CS Core nodes E.g PCSCF, I/SCSCF, MSC, HSS, HLR...)
•    Good knowledge of  2G, 3G and 4G Core interfaces and components and Service based interactions between nodes . ( E.g nodes in interaction for a Volte Call from Ran to PS and CS network EnodeB-MME-EPG-PCRF-PCSCF-SCSCF..HSS)
•    Have good understanding of whole Domains in Voice and Data. (Transmission-RAN-Core (CS and PS) and IP backbone)
•    Good understanding of a TCP session and being able to analyse PCAP traces.
•    Good understanding of DNS functionality and it’s place in network is a Plus
•    Good undestranding of (CPN *IP Backbone ) functionality and CGNAT is a Plus
•    Team leading and driving skills to gather different teams together in need for case follow up and hadling task force groups.
•    Ability to work with cross-functional teams and multiple simultaneous projects
•    BS degree or higher in  Telecommunications, Computer Science  or relevant field 
•    Experience of network optimisation techniques and processes
•    Experience of using network statistics, networks traces  and drive trialling logs to analyse and improve network performance
•    Good working knowledge in network performance management and understanding of network measurement gathering and analysis.
•    Excellent understanding of the data analysis through querying of relational databases.
•    Excellent statistics and mathematical background is necessary to interpret algorithms output results.
•    Good presentation and storytelling skills to summarize findings in a right manner to Management Teams
•    Good understanding of regulatory framework for mobile operations particularly in the Turkey environment.
