We are seeking a Digital&BI Demand Senior Manager with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting to Product Delivery Senior Manager of Vodafone Turkey.
Accountable for understanding business needs and requirements and supporting business in product and idea generation by forming an interface between related domains and Technology functions.
Support business in the initial project concept design phase by providing insight and by challenging assumptions.
Ensure that business requirements captured are realistic, achievable and testable.
Support business by providing high level estimations in terms of cost, duration, effort and etc. with the Project Managers and IT solution department.
Define the size of the project (a+, a, b and c) depending on project timelines, scope and budget.
After RECO approval, shape business requirements and prepare a comprehensive and clear functional design (FAD) document for the delivery of a+ and a types of projects within standardized set of methodologies.
Understand, shape and agree the scope of the project, understand business drivers and manage scope change.
Handover the FAD documents to the solution team for the technical design documents.
Facilitate compliance communication, effectively communicate change and manage the requirements backlog.
Portfolio Management
Lead cross-functional group’s demands and requirements.
Own and execute companywide demand prioritization process and create a comprehensive and single list of demands throughout the organization.
Manage assigned demand and delivery portfolio in alignment with the technology and commercial roadmap.
Advocate the account priorities in the Portfolio Management process.
Work with PDT governance team in the preparation of the master project plan and manage the changes in project timeline.
Confirm the Project Proposal Reprioritization before submitting the selected portfolio Master Plan to the PPC*.
Manage the feasibility scheduling and execution process while coordinating the resources according to the business priorities.
Collect and change requests throughout the delivery process.
Consolidate requests with similar and/or overlapping technical implementation needs and business rules. Provide proper assistance for similar or conflicting requests.
Involved in the scenario validation process to evaluate the effects of eventual changes on the projects scheduling and to judge the impact of eventual change requests inserted in the portfolio.
Ensure and control the delivery of small and configuration type of demand (ie. b and c type) in line with defined project management methodologies.
Vendor Management:
In case of utilization of 3rd party vendor resources in development, ensure the coordination with the vendors and the business units.
Reporting / Meeting:
Monthly PPC* meeting with related business and technical heads to review the status of the project portfolio. Share the portfolio view report accordingly.
Attend MOPS meeting to give high level input regarding the business needs and requirements.
Regular project review meetings with the project team
