QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Our company, specializing in purchasing and selling high-quality auto spare parts worldwide, is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented professional to fill the position of Sales Manager. This crucial role involves developing new markets and creating profitable opportunities in the automotive spare parts industry.

1. Team Management:

  • Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to foster collaboration and communication.
  • Provide coaching/training and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Set clear performance expectations and conduct performance reviews.

2. Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify target markets and segments for expansion, aligned with company strategy and further decisions (Europe, North America, South America, Africa, etc)
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.

3. Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Lead negotiations for major contracts and partnerships.
  • Address client concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

4. Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Define and monitor the sales team's key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Regularly analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive sales reports to the executive team.
  • Implement data-driven decision-making processes.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation.
  • Communicate sales strategies and updates to the broader organization.
  • Foster open communication between the Istanbul and external sales teams.
  • Establish regular communication channels for remote team members.

6. Global Expansion:

  • Develop and execute plans for entering new markets.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with international expansion.
  • Build relationships with local partners, distributors, and stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about international market trends, competition, and regulations.

7. Sales Training and Development:

  • Develop and implement ongoing training programs for the sales team.
  • Ensure that team members have the necessary product and market knowledge.
  • Identify skill gaps and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate cross-functional training to enhance collaboration with other departments.

8. Budget Management:

  • Developed and managed the sales department budget.
  • Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize budget allocations.
  • Provide financial forecasts and updates to the executive team.

9. Continuous Improvement:

  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the sales team.
  • Seek feedback from team members and stakeholders to identify areas for enhancement.
  • Implement process improvements to streamline sales operations.

10. Representation at Industry Events:

  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and events.
  • Network with potential clients, partners, and industry leaders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
