Who will you be working with?
You will be part of the regional Sales team, working closely with Metro/Public Railway customers, local Sales teams, Wabtec Field Services, and SISCO Engineering teams. In this role, you will act as a key technical interface between customers and internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
How will you make a difference?
As a Technical Supporter, you will support Metro/Public Railway customers by responding to technical support requests in a quality-, cost-, and target-oriented manner. You will ensure strong customer relationships, provide technical expertise, support sales activities through technical insights, and contribute to maintaining Wabtec’s reputation for reliable and innovative railway solutions.
What will your typical day look like?
- Act as the primary technical contact for local Metro/Public Railway customers, including field service, maintenance, and technical operations teams.
- Maintain close customer relationships through regular communication and on-site visits.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting defined quality standards and following company procedures and protocols.
- Identify customer needs and provide technical recommendations to support the Sales team in generating potential sales leads.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Wabtec products and services used in the domestic market.
- Collaborate with Wabtec Field Services and SISCO Engineering teams to resolve technical issues, claims, and customer requests.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers, focusing on solutions, innovations, and value creation.
- Support the Sales team in preparing customer offers in line with Wabtec technical guidelines and tools.
- Plan and execute regular customer visits to monitor product usage, system performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation related to customer platforms and Wabtec/competitor products.
- Support annual customer demand and order forecasting through technical input.
- Assist in planning and conducting local technical or specialist events.
- Resolve technical disputes and warranty claims.
- Conduct or lead product repairs and overhaul services and prepare detailed service reports aligned with schedules.
What do we want to know about you?
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product engineering, systems maintenance, technical support, technical project management, or engineering of technically sophisticated products.
- Strong technical knowledge of railway platforms and systems, with a willingness to continuously learn and develop.
- Customer-oriented mindset with strong ownership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage deadlines independently.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
- Fluent Turkish and English.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP systems.
- No military service obligation.
- Willingness to travel regularly between cities
