Skills and experience

• Knowledge of cutting tools, their applications and the tooling industry.
• Experience in CNC machining and metal cutting tool business.
• An In-depth understanding of the manufacturing industry and concepts associated with machining.
• Able to use CRM, SAP and MS Office programs in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to design and review new and existing drawings using computer assistance programs such as AutoCAD.
• Experience in using both manual drawing techniques and CAD/CAM systems in cutting tool design.
• On the level of technical knowledge and understanding to promote the product and respond to customer’s demands.
• Technical competence and ability to find solutions.
• Knowledge of English is preferred for using of 2D/3D systems and for communication with Engineering department and Export Customers.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally when necessary.

Job description

• Designs of Solid and Indexable tools and inserts to all manufacturing processes.
• Selects standard tools from Catalogs.
• Prepares tool layouts to optimize machining performance.
• Prepares a Power -Point presentation for the customer.
• Communicate with teammates within the workgroup regarding tool designs and concepts.
• Communicate with responsible technical persons at Customer regarding tool designs and concepts.
• Coordinates design requirements and approves designs before purchasing when receiving designs from external suppliers.
• Written reports about customer visits.
• To use CRM and SAP applications regularly as desired.
