We are on the way of cementing the foundation for being competitive in the future! As a part of this we are looking for  Senior Workshop Service Engineer - Located in Istanbul, Turkey.

Your Main Responsibilities Are

·         Perform Field Service activities according to the work plan.

·         Perform overhauls and repairs on assemblies on site and/or in workshops.

·         Interact professionally with customers during the work execution.

·         Perform internal and external progress status of the assigned work.

·         Create the Service Work Reports.

·         Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsilä QEHS guidelines and site  procedures.

·         Ensure that the work is executed according to QSHE guidelines and site procedures and policies.

·         Follow-up and report on the status of work orders to customer and/or internal stakeholders.

·         Continuously seek for solutions in according to best practices.

 Main Requirements In This Role Are

·         Graduated from Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering.

·         A safety-first mind-set.

·         You are passionate about developing SLS E2E-business to the next level.

·         Relevant technical education or qualifications as a combination of education and 2 years of experience.

·         Technical experience in marine engineering with practical problem-solving skills.

·         Proven experience of installation operation, maintenance, and repair.

·         Highly effective technical communication skills, both written and verbal (in Turkish and English)

·         Interact professionally and deliver solutions to customers during the work execution.

·         Experience in propulsion shaft alignment and vibrations beneficial.

·         Experience of working with electrical systems beneficial.

·         Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite.

·         Fluent in English with relevant additional language skills beneficial.

·         You are located in İstanbul and willing and able to travel.

·         You don't have military service obligation (for male candidates)
