QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

    JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Assembling the HW configuration of active elements of the network and internal firewalls (Switches, supervisors, wireless controllers, access points, firewalls etc.)
  • Administration and operation of network and network security services (wired and wireless)
  • Firmware upgrades
  • Configuration and administration of network (incl. Wi-Fi) and security devices
  • Setting and managing VLANs
  • Setting and managing network according to customer NAC requirements (wired and wireless)
  • Monitoring the availability of external connections (incl. intersite connections)
  • 2nd level support
  • Escalation cases to the ext. partner
  • Ensuring backup of configurations
  • Supervising the operation (daily monitoring, log analysis, etc.)
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosis
  • Support in troubleshooting and diagnosis of workstations and laptops
  • Support and contribution with IS team members in troubleshooting and diagnosis of IS related issues
  • Restoring, reconfiguration of devices
  • Modifications, improvements according to customer requests, other project activities implying modification of the network or security
  • Supporting the alert systems based on e-mail (or SMS) and on-line monitoring
  • Deployment of customer security projects
  • Making an inventory / survey of the IT services and devices ==> documentation, risk management plan
  • HW maintenance for switches,
  • Consultative assistance
  • Contribution and support in any IT audit
  • Complance of security rules and NDA
  • Incidents analysis according to customer rules (PDCA, QRQC)
  • Using ticketing system, indicators and follow-ups
  • Documentation
  • DRP and DRP tests, tests reports
  • Managing internal firewall (clusters - also via manager interface)
  • Contribution in installation of IP phones system in all locations
  • Coming: replacing APs with new ones on all sites

Preferred Candidate
