We are searching for “Buyers” for one of our clients who is a“Global Automotive Company”

Ideal candidates will be working in Engineering Center which is located in Sancaktepe – Istanbul and should be ready to respond to the following skills and experiences;

• University degree,
• Minimum 1 year of proven purchasing experience, preferably in the automotive industry,
• Experience in dealing with suppliers from both a direct and indirect perspective,
• Ability to make strategic sourcing recommendations and take appropriate action,
• Proven project management skills with cross functional resources,
• Ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment with multiple deadlines,
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills for a sustainable and powerful relationship with suppliers,
• Effective communication, persuasion, strategizing, and negotiation skills,
• As you will be working in a global environment with global cross-functional teams, fluency in English is a must for this position.

• Carry out supplier relations, represent the company in the presence of suppliers and take an active role in the business development activities of the company’s responsible suppliers,
• Develop Q1 work plan for identified Non-Q1 suppliers and drive for Q1 approval,
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies and "should cost" model for part & tool,
• Execute price settlement, material price escalation &cost reductions in the company’s system and capture the saving under financial reporting,
• Negotiate and settle commercials for capacity enhancement within the approved budget,
• Support supply chain, MP&L for meeting 100% production, service parts requirements,
• Ensure parts supportability to the customer service department,
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams regionally and/or globally,
• Manage engineering changes cost-efficiently,
• Continuously monitor supplier financial status and develop a work plan for distressed suppliers.
