EHS / C Class Occupational Safety Specialist

We are looking for a "EH&S /C Class Occupational Safety Specialist" for our Yazaki Gemlik Plant with below job description and qualifications.

JOB DESCRIPTION;

Work Accident and Occupational Safety Legal Legislation Management;

• To follow the Labor Law, Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 related regulations and environmental legislation,
• To ensure that the Notary Approved Book is filled monthly and signed by the employer / employer representative and the workplace doctor,
• To provide occupational health and safety training to employees within the scope of the Regulation on Procedures and Principles,
• To ensure the effective operation ISO 45001 management system
• Managing of internal audits and to follow up the actions,
• To make daily follow-up of work accidents, to inform the SSI of the accidents sent to the hospital, to ensure that corrective and preventive actions are carried out,
• To make an assessment on work accidents and occupational diseases in cooperation with the workplace doctor,
• To follow the requirements required by YEL (Yazaki Europe Limited) (OPS, KPI, etc.),
• To enter updated data to EHSPS system that is followed by Yazaki Yel as monthly,
• To follow up the customer requirements related to occupational health and safety,
• To follow the periodic control tests of the equipment (forklift, boiler room ...),
• Selecting and supplying personal protective equipment in accordance with the standards. Distributing to employees for embezzlement,
• To prepare the annual work plan with the workplace doctor,
• To enter training records to the occupational health and safety information management system (IBYS).

Subcontractor / Emergency Management,

• To follow up the documents of the companies that will work in the plants within the scope of Contractor and Subcontractor Management Procedure, within the scope of the Occupational Health and Safety Law,
• Planning and executing subcontractor audits, sharing and following up the actions with the related person,
• To prepare an Emergency Plan within the scope of the Emergency Procedure,updating in legal periods, updating emergency teams, ensuring that the drill is held at least once a year,
• To follow up on budget processes related to HSE.

Risk Analysis;

• Within the scope of the Risk Assessment Procedure, to ensure that risk analyzes are carried out on the basis of departments and activities, and to follow the action.

Environmental Legal Legislation Management;

• To ensure the determination and evaluation of environmental dimensions according to the Environment Dimension Objective Target and Programs Determination Procedure,
• To follow up to date with legal permits within the scope of environmental activities and to ensure that permits are received on time,
• To ensure that the Ministry of Environment annual notifications are made on time,
• To train environmental trainings within the scope of waste management,
• To perform the SAP entries for recycled waste (SAP),
• Providing activities in accordance with the waste management procedure,
• To operate the wastewater treatment plant and to conduct wastewater analysis,
• To ensure the effective operation of ISO 14001 management systems,
• To plan and perform internal audits and to follow up the actions,
• To follow the requirements required by YEL (OPS, KPI, etc.),
• To ensure that periodic measurement (Environment Measurement etc.) activities are legally required according to the HSE Parameters Monitoring and Measurement Procedure,
• To follow up the Chemical, Critical and Material Handling, Storage, Storage, and Use Procedures,
• Creating of a waste delivery request for the hazardous waste through the Integrated Environmental Information System.

QUALIFICATOINS:

• Able to work in 3 shifts
• University graduate preferably environmental engineer
• C class occupational safety specialist certificated
• Good command of English both in written and spoken (Part of the interview will be held in English)
• Good communication and team working skills
• Good PC Skills (MS Office)
• Residence in Bursa
• No military obligation for male candidates
