Production Planning Section Manager

Job Description:

• Capacity planning.
• Propose annual production plan and packaging material budget.
• Implement production schedule, manage production progress.
• Hold production and sales meeting and coordinate with mutual parties to achieve the monthly shipment target.
• Calculate MRP raw material, material and propose material requirement.
• Manage raw material, material, finished goods stock in/out and cross-plant allocation operation.
• Implement shipment operation and monitor the status according to company's shipment target.
• Manage the inventory of raw material, material and finished goods. Implement annual inventory take.
• Randomly check raw material, material and finished goods inventory. Review and improve inactive inventory.
• Review and confirm the production order and reply the inquiry.
• Implement monthly shipment operation, progress control, compile monthly report.
• Manage and maintain ERP production management system.
• Manage outsourcing product, including schedule and status.
• Implement health and safety management, 5S, QCC, improvement proposals, OJT and other activities.
• Supervise the maintenance of equipment.
• Assess and review staff performance.
• Implement the other tasks assigned by superior

Requirements:

• BS Degree required, Industrial Engineering background.
• At least 8 years of experience in Iron&Steel industry in Supply Chain Management (production planning, material planning, capacity planning, scheduling)
• Knowledge of Supply Chain systems, ERP/MRP.
• Lean / Six Sigma / Operational Excellence knowledge and certification preferred.
• Experience interacting and building effective relationships at all levels of the organization 
• Proven experience working with commercial functions. 
• Required strong analytical skills, data management, derive conclusion from analysis
• People management experience, strong leadership and communication skills in managing high performing teams,
• Good command of written and verbal English.
• Knowledge of MS Office (especially ppt & excel).
