Scope of Work:

To be responsible on below duties:

 

·   Supervise and write reports for case management and cases' evaluation

·   Participate to the committee for the evaluation of the cases

·   Supervise the cases' management

·   Supervise the release of the assistance

·   Contribute to regular reporting on achievements and challenges related to the project as requested by the Community center Manager.

·   Participate in facilitating and coordinating activities within the team and with other YYD’s offices.

·   Attend internal strategic and planning meetings

·   Provide capacity building efforts of the protection assistants and the community focal points

·   Facilitate the continuous assessment process and provide support to staff conducting the assessments when needed

·   Coaching and mentoring of protection assistants as needed

·   Referrals and Mainstreaming

·   Coordinate inter-agency referral process, including medical and resettlement referrals

·   Enhance service mapping and ensure referral mechanisms are functional

·   Ensure activities across all projects, including monitoring, conform to basic minimum protection requirements

·   Work closely with the monitoring team and the project manager on the timely monitoring and evaluation of the Special Needs Fund, referrals and assessments

·   Facilitate the qualitative and quantitative monitoring of the project through team meetings, post-assistance visits, regular reporting and any other monitoring tools.

·   Participate in the internal evaluation of the programme

·   Ensure follow up on referral cases and keep record on outcomes

• Provide briefings and present case overviews to colleagues and more senior members of staff where necessary.

 

Knowledge and Experience:

·   University degree or advances training/ course in sociology, social work, international affairs, humanitarian or related field;

·   At least 2-3 years of relevant professional protection experience with a humanitarian aid organization .

·   Experience of work (in paid or voluntary capacity) in NGO or voluntary sector

·   Experience with case management protocols desirable

·   Good intellectual and analytical ability to develop knowledge of legislation and apply it to a variety of circumstances.

·   Fluency in English and Turkish; Arabic is an asset

·   Valid Turkish ID and work permit required.
