We are looking for a Research Manager for YILDIRIM Group’s metals & mining subsidiary, YILMADEN Holding, to be assigned at our headquarters in Maslak, Istanbul.

Job Description:

• The position covers two main areas of focus: market and investment research
• On the market research side: Monitor the markets, in particular selected commodities Regularly communicate with market players to get insights about the markets
• Adopt an out-of-the-box-thinking approach to understand the commercial conditions of the commodities markets
• Manage the investment researches and investment-stage processes
• Conduct company mapping in various commodity sectors, filter with different criteria, and follow them up as investment targets
• On the investment research side: Communicate with different internal and external parties, manage a different part of the investment processes 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in investment and market research units of commodity producers, investment banks, consulting companies, or research houses
•  Have a proven track of managing teams and providing leadership

•  Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a command of research methodologies, understanding of valuation and financial modelin

• Previous experience with regular reporting techniques and strong presentation skills

•  Good command of Excel, VBA is a strong plus, experience with Python is also a plus

•  Excellent written and oral communication skills both in Turkish and English
•  Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university, preferably in Business Administration, Finance Economics, or Engineering; Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Science (MSc) is a plus
• Capable of working in a demanding deadline-driven and flexible working hours environment, ability to produce quality work with attention to details
