Currently, we are looking for a Rolling Stock Engineer who will work for the Marmaray Project to join the team of the Avrasya Consult which has been engaged to represent the Turkish government’s procurement of the railway and rolling stock under and engineering consultancy agreement.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering,
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in railway engineering,
• Very good command of written and spoken English,
• Highly organized and detail-oriented,
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines,
• Ability to work as part of a team,
• No travel restrictions,
• Should hold a valid driver’s license.

İŞ TANIMI

• To perform site inspections and monitor rolling stock supplier maintenance, testing and commissioning activities,
• To perform audits of records a check on rolling stock supplier reporting,
• To prepare reports following site visits and make recommendations regarding rolling stock supplier activities,
• To participate in joint meetings in order to set programs and resolve open technical issues,
• To perform failure review and identify technical solutions to systemic problems,
• To review of reports, design and specifications for rolling stock,
• To monitor rolling stock supplier activities on site,
• Travelling to Edirne and other train stabling locations to check on rolling stock supplier activities in that location.
• To attend rolling stock tests some of which may occur late at night and early morning.
• To be able for searching the open market for prices of materials, products and services for comparison with offers being made by the rolling stock supplier.
