Mechanical Design Engineer

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering,
• Min. 2 years of experience in mechanical design (experience of transformer design is an asset),
• Very good command of written and spoken English,
• Very good command of MS Office applications, 3D modeling and CAD applications,
• Problem solving, analytical thinking personality,
• Good communication and teamwork skills,
• No military obligation for male candidates.
• Residing in Kocaeli, Gebze or Istanbul. 

İŞ TANIMI

• Understand national and international design standards and necessary design tools,
• Follow-up projects from beginning to delivery and examination periods; and analyze the customer specifications,
• Provide international quality power transformer design documents on tenders and project, using design specific software and standard rules : CAD tools, cooling & specific mech. Calculations,
• Following non-conformance reports and taking necessary preventive actions,
• Attend engineering & production reviews in order to produce error free designs & reliable products, to reduce the cost of non-quality and to insure adequate performance of the unit,
• Prepare the tender and/or contract design, taking in account international rules and national standards, using ALSTOM standards and tools, relying on material specifications (technical understandings, costs, procurement loop), and manufacturing capabilities,
• Develop and maintain business relations and effective communication with suppliers, in order to benefit from their support; and support suppliers in production of quality components.
