Logistics Specialist / Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in related departments (preferably Logistics, Industrial Engineering and/or Economics), Master’s degree is a plus,
• Experience in business development, warehouse operations management, contract logistics and/or logistics solution development areas,
• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse (inventory management, storage addressing, delivery processes etc.),
• Experience to use a software tool for warehouse management, preferably SAP WM module,
• Experienced in third party service management processes,
• Strong planning and organization skills,
• Open to development, advanced problem solving skills and result oriented,
• Able to work in a multinational environment with employees from different cultures,
• Compatible to work intensively and be able to adapt quickly to flexible working hours,
• Very good written and verbal communications skills,
• Advanced level of English both in writing and speaking,
• Very good command of Microsoft Office,
• No military obligation for male candidates.

İŞ TANIMI

• Working on feasibility studies of the warehouse operations, design and costing processes.
• To be assigned for projects about warehouse, logistics and distribution processes,
• Assisting improvement efforts that increase throughput, improve service, or reduce operating costs or inventory,
• Managing the implementation process of the warehouse improvement projects while coordinating with other related business departments,
• Measuring the performance of the warehousing and costing,
• Supporting the selection process of the third party provider company,
• Managing the relationships with third party providers,
• Making sure that quality control standards are met for outgoing goods and assembled components,
• Solving the problems in all areas to keep the facility on schedule,
• Coordinating the utilization of warehouse resources for organization and storage of finished products and raw material inventories,
• Analyzing processes and define costs for the IT related issues,
• Following up the inventory levels in variable warehouses,
• Managing the periodical counting process of the inventories,
• Preparing the reporting papers daily, weekly and monthly,
• Making sure that the warehouse processes are compatible with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) and Quality necessities,
• Coordinating with finance group on accounts payable, asset tracking, transfers, and inventory reconciliation.
