QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
The ACS (Automation and Control Solutions) Turkey Manager of Market Development is responsible for leading, managing and directing all of the Market Development related activities in Turkey. He/she will work with the Turkey Country Strategic Marketing Leader and Strategic Business Unit leadership team to identify, document and execute a growth strategy for the business. This person will also work with the business and functional leaders to create and prioritize a tactical growth plan for the business.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal executives, field sales and marketing organization, key business partners and the senior management team to maximize the growth, development and return on investment of ACS’s product portfolio in Turkey. Development of customer insights, market intelligence, sales analysis and partnership/distributor identification so as to capitalize on business opportunities.
The role will be directly reporting to the Middle East, Turkey and CIS Marketing Director with a matrix reporting relation to the HGR Strategic Marketing Director – Turkey. Location of the role is Istanbul.

Specifically, he/she must:
- Work with Strategic Marketing to develop strategic plans that enable businesses to grow faster than their markets inclusive of target accounts and account penetration plans.
- Define marketing and business plans aligned to the strategic plan.
- Lead integrated cross-functional teams to execute plan to drive financial results.
- Develop and implement comprehensive plans focusing on growing sales and increasing profitability.
- Develop forward looking product, software and service plans that enable profitable growth into the future.
- Lead the partner /distributor identification process for the ACS SBUs in Turkey.
- Identification of cross-selling opportunities that fully utilize the breadth of Honeywell’s product software service offerings across all businesses.
- Investigate marketing opportunities with significant scale and synergy to drive growth and leverage current portfolio of products, software and services.
- Use management operating system to drive results.
İŞ TANIMI
- Bachelor’s degree required in finance, engineering, economics or industrial marketing. Strong preference for engineering/technology background with excellent analytical skills
- MBA or similar preferred.
- Minimum 5 - 10 years of experience
- Must have 2+ years of strategic marketing or consulting experience in a company which operates internationally : strong exposure to technology / B2B verticals
- Minimum 6-8 years product marketing experience
- 2-5 years of proven sales experience
- Fluent in speaking and writing in English and Turkish
- Experience in automation related industries will be a plus.
