Electrical Procurement Engineer

We're looking for Procurement Engineers to be assigned to our potential projects in Shotton Paper Mill Project in the UK.

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for end-to-end procurement, including tendering, sourcing, and supplier / contract management, 
• Analyze supplier and subcontractor offers and interpret the most appropriate purchasing goal, 
• Carry out negotiations with suppliers, coordinate the local contracts with the Project Manager, to obtain approval for contracts from the Main Office Contracts and Procurement Departments, 
• Creating new material alternatives and checking the compliance of these materials in the project with the Technical Office Department, 
• Deliver on time the orders of previously approved materials needed by the construction site, 
• Coordinate and execute logistics and imports process with suppliers, transporters and customs authorities, 
• Continuous tracking of the supply market, keeping abreast of developments, trends, risks, and opportunities, leading the continual engagement with existing and potential suppliers and being ahead of external market factors, 
• Checking warehouse activities (consumables, goods receipt, transfer, stock control), 
• Prepare related procurement reports/presentation,
• Preparing procurement orders via SAP as per material requests

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Procurement Experience in  Electrical Contracting Projects 
• Minimum 5 years of experience 
• ERP software experience - preferably SAP 
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. 
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Stakeholder and supplier management 
• Preferably UK market and Logistic knowledge
