Aras Marine Investment Holding Inc. has been providing services in marine construction, ship salvage and emergency response services, shipbuilding, tugboat operations, as well as in R&D and advanced engineering fields with its subsidiaries and expert team since 1995. In addition to these, it operates in the education and social areas through the Alpaslan Autism Combat Foundation.

 Within the Aras Marine Investment Holding, we are looking for a new team member for the position of "Occupational Health,Safety&Environment Manager" for our Sakarya Gas Field Development Project, which we will carry out the Phase 2 stage following the Phase 1 activities delivered with outstanding success in December 2022.

 What Do We Expect from Our New Team Member?

•  Ensure the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) measures during Project Construction Activities to prevent occupational diseases, accidents, environmental incidents, and property damage, while prioritizing the physical well-being of employees and fostering a secure working environment.
• Ensure strict adherence to national/local legislation concerning Health, Safety, and Environment, as well as compliance with Aras Deniz İnşaat guidelines and procedures.
• Supervise and enforce compliance with local HSE and Project standards by contractors and subcontractors. Oversee the safety plan and verify the proper use of safety equipment by subcontractors through regular audits as per the defined schedule.
• Participate in all mandatory project meetings.
• Lead and coordinate the HSE team on the Project.
• Support all tasks necessary for the continuous improvement of the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) management system in accordance with applicable regulations and standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.)
• Support HSE management in ensuring compliance with HSE requirements before commencing on-site activities.

 What Kind of Team Member Are We Looking For?

• Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience in Environmental and Health & Safety.
• Having B Class OHS Certificate at least.
• Experienced in ISO management systems
• Very good command of English.
• Preferably +5 years of experience in occupational health and safety.
