Project Engineer- Advanced Manufacturing(Garage)

•    Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering,
•    Studying Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferably Materials and Manufacture Program),
•    Having interest in Advanced Manufacturing (vacuum casting, reacting injection molding) and low volume production methods,
•    Keen on doing hands-on work,
•    Design, Product development project that intersects with design, R&D process (product design, R&D, product engineering, implementation of projects and manufacturing),
•    Having an experience in CAD systems especially in NX platform,
•    Understanding the needs of the home appliance product & customer and converting these needs to prototypes,
•    Excellent verbal and written skills in English.

İŞ TANIMI

Arçelik is looking for a Project Engineer – Advanced Manufacturing (Garage) who will work for R&D Directorate.

•    Improving process parameters and researching material properties in rapid prototyping technology in vacuum casting and RIM (reaction injection molding),
•    Taking necessary actions for Comparison of similarity and strength values of true thermoplastic/thermoset properties of polyurethane and silicone materials used in vacuum casting and RIM,
•    Giving support to engineering team of resourcing rapid prototyping with similar properties to real thermoplastic / thermosetting materials and investigation of methods of low-number production,
•    Determining of process parameters affecting quality and quantity of production in vacuum casting and RIM,
•    Determining the tensile values of polyurethane and silicone materials used in prototype manufacturing according to size/thickness effect,
•    Determining of the selection criteria of polyurethane and silicone materials according to the requirements of prototype parts requested for R&D projects and realizing optimum process flow,
•    Controlling visual/functional of prototypes, gathering of feedbacks and making "proof of concept" prototypes by making improvements,
•    Giving support to the organization and planning of R&D project prototype requests.
