Infrastructure / Drainage Engineer

Arup is one of the world top engineering and consultancy firms. We are seeking an Infrastructure / Drainage Engineer for our İstanbul Office to strengthen our Infrastructure Team.

• Bachelor degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from reputable universities,
• MSc in Hydraulics Engineering would be an advantage,
• 2-5 years of design experience in infrastructure projects (storm water, wastewater, and potable water networks) and  preferably in design of rail and highway drainage project and hydraulic culvert design,
• Design experience in utility diversion, river/channel flow calculations,
• Experience in flood risk management would be an advantage,
• Working knowledge of standard computer programs (MS Office, AutoCAD, Microstation,),
• Knowledge  and experience on common numerical analysis and data management software as a user (e.g. Civil 3D, Urbano, msKanal, msSu, Mike, Hec RAS, Stormcad),
• Experience on design to local and major international codes,
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken,
• Working experience in multinational and English speaking environment,
• Self-motivated, eager to learn and to take on new challenges,
• Effective communication and presentation skills,
• Available to work flexible hours to catch the tight deadlines,
• No travel restrictions (national & international),
• Have a driver’s license,
• For male candidates, military service must be completed. 

İŞ TANIMI

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of senior leaders and project managers and would be able to manage self-planning for design requirements.
·         Preparing infrastructure and drainage design drawings,
·         Performing calculations and preparing design reports through all design stages,
·         Preparing BoQs, technical specifications.
