QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking for a“Senior Fabric Technologist” to be assigned in the developing and growing organization of our company:

• University degree preferably in Textile Engineering
• Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in a similar role
• Fluent in both written and spoken English,
• Knowledge of color management considered as an advantage
• Familiar with the UK retail industry and/or European garment buying processes

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Following all the stages of the technical submission process before bulk production.
• Chasing the base test reports and guide the suppliers for improvements if needed.
• Ensuring the fabric is correct for bulk production depending on the customer standards.
• Manage risk by indentifying critical fabrics in pre-production risk assessment meetings.
• Evaluate test reports on both base and bulk production.
• System training for suppliers if necessary.
