Main focus of Avansas.com is making it easy and cost efficient for customers to buy a wide range of office products, including office supplies, technology, food and cleaning products used in offices.
 
We are looking for a MERCHANDISING DIRECTOR who will meet our following expectations and work full time in Avansas office, located in Istanbul Uskudar.
 

• Graduate from the faculty of Economics or BA of a reputable university,
• 10 years of experience in merchandising,
• Good level of knowledge on both international and local market trends,
• Negotiation skills,
• Deep knowledge on analyzing business figures and being able to have right conclusions.

İŞ TANIMI

• Develop, define, implement, maintain and update the assortment-strategy and structure
• Implement and execute a professional, efficient and beneficial purchase of all product-groups and products plus related gifts, the Company offers to their customers
• Implement and supervise appropriate working principles and train the Merchandising team accordingly (Negotiation principles, Assortment building, Supplier management, Promotion design and management, system-driven operation)
• Grow the sales and profit margin of the SME according to Company budget
• Realize selling promotional activities
• Responsible for creation target driven working environment
• Responsible for creation of customer driven (not supplier driven) procurement pillars and enabling team act accordingly,
• Lead Category Managers and improve team performance
• Making the team to have merchant feeling, out-of-box thinking and creativity and to act accordingly,
• Setting a strong mind-set to cooperate with and understanding the needs of other departments (especially Sales and Marketing)
• Providing rich and deep commercial knowledge that Merchandising with its nature contains to be used in the company
• Being fully accountable for the P&L of the function
• Employ new, talented and motivated team-member in various functions within Merchandising.
• Lead, develop, coach and motivate the team act as a role-model of a leader within the Avansas-Company-Values and principles.
