We are looking for a "Purchasing Engineer (Indirect Procurement)" for our growing team.

Location: İstanbul, Ümraniye

Job Description

In this job you are responsible for the purchase of indirect components that meet the requirements in terms of quality, price and delivery performance. 

You manage the suppliers market for these components in an active way, meaning you are responsible for:

• Identifying and assessing potential suppliers
• Communicating and negotiating with suppliers effectively
• Monitoring and assessing products received from suppliers based on specified, appropriate requirements.
• Proposing suggestions, request for quotation, and negotiation with suppliers
• Presenting technical and specialized reports related to purchasing records
• Controlling costs
• Preparing and concluding related contracts
• Observing purchase-related laws and regulations defined by the organization
• The supplier selection process incl. price analyses and price negotiations
• Optimization of supply chain process

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related department of the university
  
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English
  
• 3 to 5 years purchasing experience in a global company
• Good negotiation skills
• Experienced in Supplier relationship management, multi-supplier management: Maintaining, developing, and controlling existing relations with suppliers.
• Good command of Turkish and English
• Exploring for new suppliers, sourcing opportunities 
• Identification of product and/or process optimization leading to the definition and implementation of CC7 cost reduction projects
• Logistics flow for local and import components.
• Experience in a technical function or production environment is an asset.
• Absence of domestic and international travel barriers
